The conception of who we are today came as a seedling of passion for wanting to help people. Looking at the current housing situation has been an eye-opening experience for us all, and we knew that our passion for construction would certainly not go amiss, especially given the continuously rising inflation rates. Our passion for space and environments translates into a duty to share this and create these spaces of comfort and privacy for you and your loved ones. We understand that for anyone looking to build a new home, a vision of what it might all look like appears. For many of us, it is a lifelong dream, but when we embark on the journey, it can be overwhelming.
The importance of the way that our homes look like and the feeling that is created with the colors, textures, and lines that are used to create your abode is paramount for our well-being. If there is anything that the pandemic has taught us, it is that our homely surroundings are super important, and perhaps for the first time in the post-modern era, we gave our undivided attention to exactly how the four walls that surround us make us feel. Because of this, we have become more informed about our choices, not just in terms of aesthetics but also a utility and whether or not our choices are ecological. Here at Luxxify Builders, we strive to create design options that will reflect this newfound appreciation for our homes. We welcome innovative ways of doing things, specifically the ones that will create better solutions for problems we may face on a daily basis.
To showcase our dedication to our brand and who we are and what we stand for, we have gone into great detail and thought long and hard about how we present ourselves to our clients and asked time and time again how our values have seeped into the fabric of who we are and all the relationships we forge, old and new. The choice of colors as part of our brand logo was one part of that very long thought process that we went through at the beginning of the conception of Luxxify Builders. If you have a look at our logo, you will notice (as I’m sure you’ve already done) 4 colors: orange, green, yellow, and teal. Their meanings come in three stages: the first is their psychological effect; the second is the meaning that they have given us and how this has contributed to who we are; and the meaning that we have given them in turn.
Hereby we herald our 4 logo colors:
Orange – Psychologically orange is the creative energy, optimistic and extroverted, but not as aggressive as red, while it still holds all the vitality. We took the uplifting qualities of orange as an inspiration, not only because we want to create spaces that uplift the spirit but also to be the uplifting energy in all our dealings and relationships that we establish. It goes without saying that passion was going to be another one of orange’s qualities that we imbued our logo with, signifying our dedication to excellence in all our designs and through those facilitating spaces that evoke passion. As a color that signifies warmth, we couldn’t not mention compassion because it has been the guiding light in starting a business whose main mission is creating bespoke homes, through thoughtful design solutions that will serve you and your family for generations to come.
Green – We all know it as the color that represents nature and one that rests our eyes to look at, being both relaxing and energizing. It is the color of balance, renewal, and, therefore, growth. From these meanings, we have drawn on the refreshing quality of green as an inspiration because our aim is for our designs to reflect a new perspective on a family home, one that is inspired by the great Canadian outdoors, without compromising quality. Drawing not only inspiration from nature but also sourcing materials, the second meaning that we have drawn from “green” is resourcefulness. We make it a point to draw on local resources in order to craft uniquely Canadian homes for the modern-day Canadian family. While green invites us to think about growth and prosperity, its primary connection to nature, also steers us to think about these things in practical terms, which is why we have also chosen “down-to-earth” as our last “green inspiration.” Down-to-Earth is an approach that permeates all that we do, from the relationships we forge to the last design detail of your home. We want to bring your dreams into reality with practicality and great design thinking.
Yellow – The Happy Colour! The cheerful cousin of orange, has inspired us to be inviting in our designs because let’s be real, can a house ever be a home if it is not inviting? We think that it is of utmost importance for a home to be warm, and comfortable and provide shelter, but we would also like to go a step further and create a familial sanctuary where memories are made for generations to come. Yellow has a naturally pleasing quality to it, that we translated into an inspiration to be nourishing in going that step further we hope to create a space to house all your aspirations, a place where you can foster your hobbies and nurture your passions. And we cannot talk about yellow unless we mention the playful character that inspired our own play, which is not so coincidentally work, because it gives us immense satisfaction to create spaces where you and your family can be at play, feel safe, and free to be yourselves.
Turquoise – Psychologically it communicates compassion, it’s fresh and dreamy, yet calming, so in a sense, it nicely gathers all our intentions in a nice teal conclusion. Innovative was what we drew from turquoise as we understand that the concept of family has always had a dynamic meaning, so our aim is that our designs reflect that change and our homes are designed to fit your individual family requirements. In terms of the dreamy aspect of turquoise, we drew on the inspirational side of it, because we both take inspiration from nature as previously mentioned as well as everyday family life, we like to think that our designs are built into homes that are equally inspiring to be lived and made your own. And lastly, we have drawn on is curiosity because from being curious in the ways that we can improve, and curious in the ways that we can help you achieve your dream home, we hope we inspire the same curiosity about the next chapter in your life.
